PROLOGUE

In 2006, career criminal Nicky Christ and his close friend Nicholas Hough perform a series of raiding banks in Coppa Town alongside new recruit Riddick Hastings. Later on, however, an attempt to commit a brazen bank holdup worth $15 million to secure their financial futures goes wrong when, after evading the police, their getaway car is totaled after a run in with a train and the trio are forced to reach their supposed getaway helicopter on foot. When it appears the trio will escape, Nicky and Riddick are both shot and left to be arrested while Nicholas escapes with all the money. In the aftermath, Nicky is presumed dead and Riddick is given a life sentence in Terminal Island prison; when in reality, Riddick has died of his earlier gunshot while Nicky is incarcerated in Terminal Island where he participates in death competitions which he naturally overcomes with a winning streak.

SYNOPSIS

Prior to Liberty, criminal refugee Nicholas Hough travels to Londonshire to pursue the American Dream and settle a new life of himself.

Having arrived at the airport, he is greeted by mutual gang-banger Lamar Davis who takes him to meet Gerald, a drug dealer and Lamar's contact, at his apartment. There, the two task Nicholas with their purpose to erode the Ballas and Vagos gang families in order to restore their own gang, The Families, back to power. In doing so, Nicholas proves his values to Gerald and earns his respect.

Later on, Nicholas is sent to assist Gerald's associates, Leroy and Stanley, in stashing cocaine from a drug meeting. Nicholas completes the ambush, but rather than delivering the cocaine to Gerald as previously ordered, he instead takes it to the Ballas hideout as a peace offering before forming an alliance with them; betraying Gerald in the process. Together, Nicholas and the Ballas hatch a plot to orchestrate a negotiation between the two factions, with Gerald and Lamar participating as well. Just as both groups settle on a truce, Nicholas causes a diversion that provokes a gang war. In the ensuing gunfight, Lamar narrowly escapes and Nicholas kills Gerald after revealing his betrayal.

With Gerald dead and The Families in shambles, Nicholas takes the opportunity to take over Londonshire and flood the street with drugs. In the process of establishing his own organization, the NHHAUGHERS Syndicate, Nicholas has gone on to proceed in assembling several gang connections; listing the Vagos, the Lost MC biker gang, and the Albanian Mob, into the alliance.

As time passess, Nicholas soon meets and works with some criminal residents as a hitman; including prominent Russian mobster Kenny Petrovic, Mexican drug kingpin Martin Madrazo and Canadian self-made crime lord Trevor Phillips. He also becomes employed by Italian mob boss Giovanni Ancelotti to hunt down those responsible and involved in the kidnapping of his daughter Gracie Ancelotti, whom Nicholas instantly feels attracted to. As Nicholas forms a business relationship with Grace, he ends up working with her close friend Anthony "Gay Tony" Prince, a notorious nightclub entrepreneur.

Building up his multimillion-dollar empire, Nicholas marries Grace and becomes the sole supplier of cocaine and heroin, earning himself a luxurious heavily guarded estate in the process. By then, however, Nicholas begins to disregard his employers following the killing of several public residents; including Emirati wealthy businessman Abdul Amir.
